 I am pleased to tell you that the Tisza-Kemping in Rakamaz (Tokaj) now is reopened from April 15 th to Oktober 15 st with non-stop service for all those who likes fun, picturesque environment, relaxation and resting.
The tourism of the town is significant. The camping is on the eastern side of the country at the meeting point of two regions, the Zemplen Mountains and Alföld, on the bank of the Tisza river just by the Tisza bridge, in front of the “Kopasz” mountain on an area of 2 hectares. It is only 30 kilometres away from Nyíregyháza. Road number 38 and the Miskolc-Nyíregyháza railway connect the town to the rest of the country.
Its territory and makings offers a great oportunity for excursions and encampment for schools and students, place for caravans, boats and also offers a place where families or even organizations can arrange any programme or do any sport activities.
Fishing is also possible and there is a beach just 700 metres away by the river Tisza where every guest can get away from it all.
Each year there are two great programmes: in July the „Hegyalja Festival” and in August „Biker meeting”.
There are possibilities for boat riding, crouses on the river Tisza, and trips by boat or by bus.
The camping has very well equipped bathrooms with cold and hot water.
The camping provides lodgings for 70 person.
It is under the supervision of the security service.
For your entertainment we ensure a gaming- room with snooker, table tennis, darts and you can also play football, tennis or even basketball. There is barbecue and fireplace for those who wants to enjoy cooking and eating.
